# Welcome to Attend
Attend is the platform Hack Club uses to get you from "you're invited!" to walking through the doors of an event. Everything about your event lives here: your registration, your travel details, the documents you and your parent/guardian sign, your ticket, and messages from the organizers.
## How the journey works
1. **You get an invite email.** It's titled "Complete your attendee information for \[event name]" and contains a personal link. Click it to get started.
2. **You sign in with your Hack Club account.** There are no separate passwords for Attend — see [Logging in to Attend](/participants/02-logging-in).
3. **You complete onboarding.** A short wizard collects your profile, travel plans, accommodation preferences, health info, and your parent/guardian's contact details. See [Completing your onboarding](/participants/03-completing-onboarding).
4. **Your parent or guardian does their part.** If you're under 18, they get their own email with consent forms and waivers to sign. You don't need to do anything except make sure they check their inbox.
5. **You're all set!** Once everything is signed, your status becomes **Complete**. Your ticket, wallet passes, and travel info all live on your event page.
6. **Event day.** Show the QR code on your ticket (or your wallet pass) at the door and you're in.
## Where things live
* **Dashboard** — your home page after signing in. Shows your upcoming events and anything that still needs your attention.
* **Your event page** — click into an event from the dashboard for your ticket, travel, documents, and messages.
* **Messages** — announcements the organizers send you, all in one inbox.
